London City Tours was founded to make London’s rich culture and history accessible through immersive, purpose-driven travel. We believe education and adventure go hand in hand.

Our Story

London City Tours Learn & Explore was created with a simple idea: visiting London should be more than sightseeing.

We wanted to combine travel, education and cultural exploration to create experiences where international students and visitors can genuinely engage with London and the wider UK.

Our programmes bring together some of Britain’s most recognisable landmarks and destinations with educational activities, practical learning, cultural experiences and opportunities for personal development.

Our mission is to create meaningful educational travel experiences that help international students and visitors discover the UK while developing their knowledge, confidence and understanding of British culture.

We work to create programmes that combine education and exploration in a way that is engaging, accessible and memorable.

Our Approach

Every group is different, which is why our programmes can be adapted according to age, educational objectives, interests and length of stay.

Our experiences can combine London sightseeing with practical English, educational workshops, cultural activities, university experiences and visits to destinations such as Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Brighton, Bath and other locations across the UK.

We also encourage students to actively participate through challenges, tasks and activities rather than simply observing the places they visit.

Safety & Student Welfare

Safety and student welfare are central to the way our programmes are planned and delivered.

We take safeguarding, supervision and risk assessment seriously and work with group leaders, schools, families and international partners to create suitable arrangements for each programme.

Activities, transportation and accommodation are considered as part of the overall programme planning process, with particular attention given to groups travelling with children and young people.

International Partnerships

London City Tours works with schools, educational organisations, consultants and international partners to bring students and visitors from around the world to the UK.

Our goal is to build long-term partnerships that allow organisations to offer their students high-quality educational and cultural programmes while having a trusted UK-based partner supporting their visit.

Meet Our Founder & Director

Zayd Targan – Founder & Director of London City Tours Learn & Explore

Our founder and Director, Zayd Targan, is a former educator and travel coordinator. Zayd created LCT to bridge learning with leisure. With years of experience planning international trips, Zayd’s goal is simple: to make every journey meaningful and safe.

Looking to the Future

We are continuing to develop the educational side of London City Tours through new learning materials, practical English programmes, LCT Passports, educational guide books, workshops and international partnerships.

Our long-term aim is to create an increasingly wide range of programmes that allow students from around the world to experience London and the UK through learning, exploration and cultural exchange.
